Fremantle has around 5,000 off street and on street parking bays and the best way to find a parking spot is using the Fremantle Parking App available for iPhones. The app shows the best parking spots, as well as hourly rates, opening hours and photos of each car park location so you can find them easily. The car park locator tool will locate the car park with the most bays, the cheapest rates or that is closest to your location. It also has a parking meter function to remind you when your meter expires.

Driving around the city can be a little confusing so the City has installed large directional signage on the outskirts to direct motorists to the major car parking opportunity for each of Fremantle's major precincts.
